He started his carrier as a Itamae life in Sushi restaurant in east area of Oimachi, and started again “Yamada-Zushi” in 1947.  For several years after the war, if a guest brought 1-go of rice (about 150g),  Yamada-Zushi provided sushi to the guest with the cost for fishes and making sushi.

While the restaurant has been modified because of adjustment of city-lots, we have been continuing it. We would thank our guests supporting our Yamada-Zushi. Although it is a small restaurant, we will make our best efforts to provide traditional and delicious sushi to our guests, with Akio Nakayama, who is our colleague as well as the husband of my sister.
